TEACH ENGLISH and CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM

AND YOUR OWN ONE.
THE RULE APPLIES: “IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING, THEN YOU CAN TEACH IT”

Are you fed up with dreary winters? Are you fed up with skyrocketing grocery prices?

Are you tired of working more and more to have less and less? What if you could enjoy a comfortable lifestyle while having the free time to invest in what truly makes you happy?

Come to Vietnam I’ll explain you how.

Rent, bills, daily expenses have become unsustainable and having a dignified independent life or a family seems to have become a privilege. This is unacceptable.

Do you hold a bachelor degree and your English level is respectably acceptable and have you ever dreamed of living in a place where the sun shines brightly every day?

Do you want to be able to afford an apartment like this:

Imagine having a swimming pool to cool off in and a gym to keep you in shape—all while indulging in the countless Vietnamese delicacies that await you!

Today, Vietnam stands out as one of the highest-paying countries in the world for foreign English teachers, all in comparison to an incredibly low cost of living. Depending on your lifestyle preferences, this can enable you to live like a rock star or simply enjoy a comfortable, worry-free life, all while saving money that seems like a distant dream in many other countries.

Are you concerned that your English skills might not be sufficient to teach the difference between a banana and an apple, or a mountain and a volcano? Don’t worry!

In Ho Chi Minh and the South, temperatures range from 22°C to 38°C all year round, in the North, they can drop below zero in the mountains and snow during winter, but in Ha Noi and surrounding areas the winter minimums tend to be 10-15° C and maximum 35°C in summer.

It is advisable to use a good sun cream, especially at the seaside and in the swimming pool!

  • For those who want to join in and then return to Europe or continue traveling it is not necessary, there is a 45 days visa exemption.

  • For those looking to stay and start working immediately after the project, we will provide support in obtaining a work visa. The process depends on the school you will be working for: often, a 3-month tourist visa is initially issued, which will then be converted into a work visa directly by the school or language center. In some cases, the work visa may be processed before departure after all necessary documents have been provided. Both methods are similar.

Note: Our team will handle the visa application process for you, ensuring a smooth transition from a tourist visa to a work visa, unless you prefer to manage it independently. We are here to support you every step of the way, making your experience as seamless as possible.

Yes, we ensure that you have a job placement as part of our comprehensive job placement process. Our extensive network of approximately 2,000 schools and language centers in Vietnam allows us to connect you with suitable teaching opportunities.

Throughout the process, we provide personalized support, from submitting your application to coordinating interviews and securing your position. While we cannot guarantee specific placements, we are committed to helping you find a job that aligns with your skills and preferences, ensuring you have the best possible chance of success in your teaching career in Vietnam.

The number of working hours will be discussed directly with the school or language center you are placed in. Typically, full-time positions require around 24 hours per week, while part-time positions generally consist of about 12 hours per week. We will assist you in clarifying these details during the job placement process to ensure you have a clear understanding of your schedule.

It is certainly possible to live on a part-time salary, though it ultimately depends on your lifestyle and the city you choose to reside in. Generally, a part-time position will provide enough income to cover the majority of available accommodations in most cities. By budgeting wisely and selecting your living arrangements carefully, many teachers find they can comfortably manage their expenses while working part-time.

There are several key differences between public schools and private language centers in Vietnam:

1.Operating Hours:

Public Schools: Typically operate from Monday to Friday, focusing on morning classes.

Private Language Centers: Generally offer classes in the afternoons and on weekends, catering to students who may not be available during traditional school hours.

2.Work Schedule:

Public Schools: Teachers usually work five days a week, with set hours that align with the school schedule.

Private Language Centers: These centers often require teachers to work six days a week, providing more flexibility to accommodate students’ needs.

3.Working Hours:

Regardless of the type of institution, both public schools and private language centers typically require a total of 24 hours per week for full-time positions.

4.Student Demographics:

•Public schools usually cater to a broader age range and curriculum, providing a more authentic teaching experience that connects you with the local culture and community.

•Private language centers may attract a mix of students, including both children and adults. While they often serve motivated learners, they may also include children who are more accustomed to privileges and expectations in a more commercial learning environment.

5.Class Size:

Classes in public schools can be larger, while private language centers often have smaller class sizes, allowing for more personalized attention.

Vietnam pays competitive salaries for teachers for several reasons. As a former Chinese colony, the country places a strong emphasis on education as a pathway to personal and national development. Education is viewed as a crucial tool for improving one’s socio-economic status and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Moreover, as Vietnam continues to develop and integrate into the global economy, there is a growing demand for English proficiency, especially in urban areas. By attracting qualified foreign teachers, Vietnam aims to enhance its educational standards and prepare its workforce for international opportunities. This focus on education not only benefits individuals but also supports the country’s overall progress and relationship with foreign nations.

While insurance plans are optional, we strongly encourage participants to consider enrolling in one for their peace of mind. After the project, which includes its own insurance coverage, you will have two main options for additional insurance: international insurance and local insurance.

International Insurance: This typically provides broader coverage and is recognized globally, making it ideal for those who travel frequently or may return to their home country for treatment.

Local Insurance: Generally more affordable, this option offers coverage within Vietnam and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Both types of insurance offer diversified coverage, including outpatient (services like routine check-ups and minor treatments) and inpatient (hospitalization and major medical procedures).

We will provide lists of recommended plans to help you choose the best insurance option that suits your needs at the end of the project.

The options for your free time in Vietnam are practically endless! With a part-time schedule of around 24 hours per week, you’ll have plenty of leisure time to explore and enjoy all that the country has to offer. Here are just a few fun ideas:

Dive into the Pool: Relax and unwind at a local pool, perfect for cooling off after a hot day.

Take a Leisurely Stroll: Explore the vibrant streets, lush parks, and beautiful waterfronts at your own pace.

Learn to Play the Guitar: Why not pick up a guitar and strum your favorite tunes while enjoying the tropical ambiance?

Join a Cooking Class: Discover the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine and impress your friends with your culinary skills!

Experience Local Markets: Wander through bustling markets, sample street food, and hunt for unique souvenirs.

Get Active: Whether it’s joining a yoga class, trying your hand at kickboxing, or even participating in a local dance group, staying active is a blast!

Explore Nature: Take weekend trips to breathtaking spots like the Mekong Delta, Ha Long Bay, or the lush mountains of Da Lat.
